Choose the material and review the base
We discuss tile, backsplash, vinyl and laminate projects, including transitions and finish edges. A successful scope accounts for the existing floor, removal needs, substrate condition, layout and material specifications. Visible water damage or movement should be reviewed before installation.
What information helps with pricing?
Send room dimensions, photos of the existing surface and the material you are considering. Include doors, stairs, adjacent floor heights and whether baseboards will be reused. Clarify who supplies the flooring, underlayment, tile and trim.
Can a backsplash be a standalone project?
Yes. Provide the wall dimensions, outlets, selected tile and edge treatment. Any electrical or plumbing changes should be identified and assigned appropriately before work starts.
